WHERE IS MY REFUND?

During tax season there are billions of dollars given in refund amounts from the IRS to the public. So, if you are one of the few individuals who are anxiously waiting, but have no idea where to search or when to expect to see your money, here is a very easy way to find out when and where your check or direct deposit should come.

Step 1.) Look up, "Where is my refund" in a search bar. It is mostly convenient to those who don't exactly understand how to navigate the IRS website. It helps relieve stressful entries and being led in a circle.

Step 2.) A lot of search results could be articles or redundant information, look for the IRS.gov/refunds which should be the first result. Click the link labeled "Get Refund Status"

Step 3.) Once the link is clicked on it should take you to a page that looks like this. Enter your SSN, your filing status, and the amount being refunded to you. You can either ask that amount of your tax adviser or check on any other self-preparing website.

Step 4.) It should take you to a page with when they received your tax papers, when it is being processed, and when you should expect it, and contact information just incase it doesn't arrive on time.
